 NEW ZEALAND DX HISTORY

Barry W Old QSLs

Request from Barry Williams, New Zealand Radio DX League member, Auckland, New Zealand)

From my collection of old New Zealand call books, ranging from the late 1920s to 1950s, I have assembled a basic list of NZ broadcasts stations active in that period. I am certain this list is not complete and may have some inaccuracies. Is there a like-minded DXer out there, who has complied a similar station list or knows where one is available? I would be interested in contacting them to compare notes.

At present I am attempting to put together a collection of NZ QSL cards and letters from this period. Going by my list I have a number of QSLs missing and would be interested in contacting any DXer who has NZ QSLs particularly from the 1930s, who is prepared to sell or swap. I have duplicate 1930s NZ and Australian QSLs. And a  few duplicate call books from that era also.

Please contact Barry Williams via

if you can help.
